In order to slide the pizza onto the hot pizza stone, you need to use a baking sheet without sides. If you don't have a rimless baking sheet, you can instead turn your rimmed baking sheet over and spray the bottom of the baking sheet with cooking spray before pressing the pizza dough onto the prepared baking sheet as directed.
Tip 2
Serving Suggestion
Serve with a mixed green salad and your favorite fresh fruit to round out the meal.
Tip 3
Food Facts
Look for the pizza dough in 1-lb. balls in the refrigerated section of your supermarket. Or, see if you can purchase it from your local pizzeria. You can also use frozen pizza dough; thaw overnight in refrigerator before using as directed.
Tip 4
Variaton
If instead using a charcoal grill to prepare this delicious pizza, reduce the initial grilling time for the crust by 1 min. or until bottom of crust is golden brown, then increase the final pizza grilling time to instead be 3 to 4 min. or until cheese is melted.
