Place bacon in single layer on microwaveable plate. Microwave on HIGH 1 min. Transfer to cutting board; coarsely chop bacon. Reserve for later use.

How to Store the Romaine
Keep head of romaine fresh and crisp by rinsing and draining it, then wrapping it in a damp paper towel before placing in a resealable plastic bag. Refrigerate up to 24 hours before using as desired.
