What You Need
Original recipe yields 16 servings
1 pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix with multi-colored sprinkles
1-1/2 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese (12 oz.), softened
Prepare cake batter and bake as directed on package for 2 (8-inch) round layers. Cool 10 min. Remove cakes from pans to wire racks; cool completely.
Beat cream cheese and butter in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gradually add sugar, mixing well after each addition. Stir in COOL WHIP.
Reserve 1/4 of the cream cheese mixture for later use. Stack cake layers on plate, spreading 3/4 cup of the remaining cream cheese mixture between each layer. Spread top and side of cake with remaining cream cheese mixture.
Spread reserved cream cheese mixture evenly onto donut holes. Dip, 1 at a time, into sprinkles. Use to decorate cake as shown in photo.
