Original recipe yields 6 servings
4 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1-1/2 lb. baking potatoes (about 5)
1/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Swiss Cheese

Heat oven 400°F.

Cook and stir bacon in large ovenproof skillet on medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Discard all but 2 Tbsp. drippings from skillet.

Add onions to reserved drippings; cook and stir 3 min. or until crisp-tender. Remove onions from skillet.

Cut potatoes into 1/8-inch-thick slices; place in large bowl. Add Parmesan and oil; mix lightly.

Arrange half the potatoes, in concentric circles, on bottom of skillet, overlapping edges as necessary to make even layer of potatoes; top with onions and half the Swiss cheese. Repeat layer of potatoes. Top with bacon and remaining Swiss cheese.

Bake 25 min. or until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted.
