Celebrate your favorite team's big win with Football Pie Cookies! These unique pie cookies, with cream cheese and pecans, are great for any game day event.

Original recipe yields 24 servings
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup flour
2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar, divided
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
Let's Make It

Use pulsing action of food processor to process cream cheese, butter, flour, cocoa powder and 2 Tbsp. sugar in food processor until mixture forms ball that pulls away from side of container. Place in bowl. Refrigerate 1 hour or until chilled.

Heat oven to 350°F. Divide dough into 24 balls; place 1 in each of 24 miniature muffin pan cups. Press onto bottoms and up sides of cups to form shells.

Beat egg in medium bowl until blended. Add vanilla and remaining sugar; mix well. Stir in nuts; spoon into pastry shells, filling each shell about 3/4 full.

Bake 25 min. or until lightly browned. Cool in pans 5 min.; remove to wire racks. Cool completely.

Melt white chocolate as directed on package; spoon into resealable plastic bag. Cut small piece off one bottom corner of bag. Use to pipe lines onto cookies to resemble photo.

How to Soften the Cream Cheese
Place measured amount of cream cheese in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 10 sec. or just until cream cheese is slightly softened.

If you don't have a food processor, you can use your electric mixer instead. Beat cream cheese and butter in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add flour, cocoa powder and 2 Tbsp. brown sugar; mix well. Refrigerate 1 hour or until chilled. Continue as directed.
