What You Need
Original recipe yields 16 servings
8 pkg. (2 oz. each) slivered almonds, toasted
2 Tbsp. coconut oil
1 Tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp. salt

Process nuts in food processor 1 min. or until evenly ground.
Add remaining ingredients; continue processing 6 to 10 min. or until smooth, stopping occasionally to scrape down side of container. (Note: The nut butter will first become firm and doughlike. Eventually, the nuts will release their oils and the butter will become smooth and spreadable.)
How to Store
Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator up to 3 weeks before using as desired.
Prepare using 2 cans (8 oz. each) PLANTERS Lightly Salted Cashew Halves with Pieces. Or, prepare using 1 jar (16 oz.) PLANTERS Lightly Salted Dry Roasted Peanuts. For both varieties of nuts, reduce the coconut oil to 1 Tbsp. and omit the salt before processing as directed.
