2 cups

flour

2 tsp

baking powder

1 tsp

ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp

salt

2 

eggs, beaten

1 cup

mashed fully ripe bananas (about 3)

1/2 cup

packed brown sugar

1/2 cup

granulated sugar

1/2  cup

applesauce

1/2 cup

chopped walnuts

Instructions

Step 1

Heat oven to 350°F.

Step 2

Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Mix eggs and bananas in large bowl until blended. Add sugars and applesauce; mix well. Add flour mixture; stir just until moistened. Stir in nuts.

Step 3

Pour into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan.

Step 4

Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 10 min. Remove bread from pan to wire rack; cool completely.
