What You Need
Original recipe yields 4 servings
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 cup chopped onions
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 Tbsp. minced gingerroot
1 tsp. curry powder
1 can (16 oz.) chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed
1/4 cup HEINZ Ketchup Blended with Real Jalapeño
1/2 cup water
2 Tbsp. BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

Let's Make It
Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add onions; cook and stir 3 min. Add garlic, ginger and curry powder; cook and stir 1 to 2 min. or until fragrant.
Add chickpeas, ketchup and water; mix well. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
Stir in sour cream.
Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving.
Serve over hot cooked rice.
