Bake 30 to 35 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 min. Invert cakes onto wire racks, gently remove pans. Cool cakes completely.
Stir frosting and COOL WHIP gently in bowl until blended. Fill and frost cake layers with frosting mixture.
