Mix meat and Parmesan just until blended; shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
Cook in skillet on medium heat 4 to 5 min. on each side or until done (160°F). About 3 min. before burgers are done, cook pizza sauce in saucepan until heated through, stirring frequently.
Place burgers on bottom halves of buns; top with mozzarella and pizza sauce. Cover with tops of buns.
Substitute hot dog buns for the hamburger buns. Mix meat mixture as directed; shape into logs to fit buns. Cook as directed. Serve in buns topped with remaining ingredients.
Mix chopped green peppers into the meat mixture before shaping into patties and cooking as directed. Add fresh basil leaves to sandwiches before covering with tops of buns.
