This flavorful dip can be made ahead of time. Prepare as directed except do not top with the lettuce, tomatoes, remaining bacon and onions. Refrigerate up to 1 hour. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, remaining bacon and onions just before serving.
Serve with crackers and/or cut-up fresh vegetables.
