Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add sugar; beat with mixer until blended. Add remaining flour alternately with buttermilk, mixing well after each addition. Stir in bacon.

Bake 25 to 30 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool cupcakes in pans 10 min. Remove from pans to wire racks; cool completely.
