Let's Make It
Heat oven to 325°F
Combine first 3 ingredients until blended.
Place ham in shallow foil-lined roasting pan; cover with foil.
Bake ham 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until heated through (140°F), uncovering and brushing with preserves mixture after 45 min.
Add 1 tsp. crushed red pepper to preserves mixture before brushing onto ham.
Purchasing a Bone-In Ham
When purchasing a fully-cooked ham, look for a ham with a finely grained texture and rosy pink color. An iridescent appearance on the meat’s surface does not affect quality. Press the meat to make sure it feels firm, not spongy. Plan to get 4 to 5 servings from each pound of ham.
