Here they are - savory easy-to-make grilled pork kabobs served with sweet pineapple-flavored rice.

Original recipe yields 4 servings
1/2 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked
1 lb. pork loin, cut into 1-inch-wide strips
1 can (8 oz.) pineapple tidbits in juice, drained
1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed

Heat grill to medium-high heat.

Mix barbecue sauce and pepper until blended. Cook rice as directed on package, omitting salt and substituting 1/4 cup of the barbecue sauce mixture for 1/4 cup of the cooking water.

Meanwhile, thread meat onto 8 skewers; place in shallow dish. Pour remaining barbecue sauce mixture over skewers. Refrigerate 10 min. Remove kabobs from barbecue sauce mixture; discard barbecue sauce mixture. Grill kabobs 8 to 10 min. or until meat is done, turning occasionally.

Stir pineapple and peas into rice. Serve with kabobs.

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 min. before using to prevent them from burning on the grill.

Cool, then refrigerate any leftovers. Spoon onto 6-inch flour tortillas; roll up. Place, seam sides down, on microwaveable plate. Microwave on HIGH 2 min. or until heated through. Or, spoon leftovers into pita pockets and microwave as directed.
