Weeknight-easy, this chili is! If you have 30 minutes, a pound of ground beef and a few pantry staples (think pasta and tomato sauce), you're set.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 6 servings
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cups water
2 cups medium pasta shells, uncooked
2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed
1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1/3 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning

Let's Make It
Brown meat with onions in large saucepan on medium heat; drain. Return meat mixture to pan.
Add water, pasta, tomato sauce, beans, tomatoes, 1/4 cup cheese and seasonings; stir. Cover; cook 10 to 12 min. or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
Serve topped with remaining cheese.
Prepare as directed, substituting Italian sausage for the ground beef and/or canned cannellini beans for the kidney beans.
Prepare using your favorite medium pasta shape.
