What You Need
Original recipe yields 8 servings
1/3 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
4 cups sliced Granny Smith apple s
8 bone-in pork chop s (3 lb.), 1/2 inch thick
1 pkt. SHAKE 'N BAKE Extra Crispy Seasoned Coating Mix

Heat oven to 425°F.
Mix sugar, flour and allspice in large bowl until blended. Add apples; toss to evenly coat. Spread onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
Coat chops with coating mix as directed on package; place over apples.
Bake 35 min. or until chops are done (145ºF). Remove from oven. Let stand 3 min. before serving.
Toss 1/4 cup dried cranberries or cherries with the apple mixture before spreading onto bottom of prepared baking dish. Top with coated chops and continue as directed.
