This creamy mac and cheese dish gets its hearty appeal from the addition of garlicky chicken breast halves and broccoli.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 4 servings
4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb.)
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, divided
1 pkg. (7-1/4 oz.) KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
1-1/2 cups water
2 cups broccoli florets
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 cup milk
2 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Cook chicken in 1 Tbsp. butter in skillet on medium heat 6 to 7 min. on each side or until done (165ºF). Remove chicken from skillet; cover to keep warm.
Stir in Macaroni, water, broccoli and garlic powder. Cover; cook on medium heat 7 min. or until macaroni is tender.
Stir in milk, remaining butter and Cheese Sauce Mix. Return chicken to skillet; cover. Cook 2 to 3 min. or until heated through. Top with Parmesan.
Serve with a mixed green salad and your favorite fresh fruit to round out the meal.
Creamy Garlic Chicken and Basil
Prepare as directed, cutting chicken into thin strips. Cook and stir chicken in skillet on medium heat 4 min. or until done. Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil.
