These spice cookies aren't really magical. But using a spice cake mix to get them made quickly sure is clever!
What You Need
Original recipe yields 30 servings
1 pkg. (2-layer size) spice cake mix
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
1 cup powdered sugar

Let's Make It
Heat oven to 350ºF. Place ingredients in large bowl; stir until well blended. Let stand 5 min.
Shape into 1-inch balls; place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet.
Bake 12 min.; cool on pan 1 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
Gently press PLANTERS Pecan Half into center of each cookie immediately after removing from oven.
Place cookie dough on parchment-covered baking sheets to prevent cookies from sticking to pans and to help keep baking sheets clean between batches.
