Original recipe yields 6 servings
1 lb. lean ground beef
4 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn and green beans), thawed
1 cup HEINZ HomeStyle Savory Beef Gravy
2 cups hot prepared ORE-IDA STEAM N' MASH Cut Russet Potatoes (1/2 of 24-oz. pkg.)
4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided

Heat oven to 375ºF.
Brown meat in large skillet; drain. Return meat to skillet. Add mixed vegetables and gravy; mix well.
Spoon into 9-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
Mix potatoes, cream cheese, garlic and 1/2 cup cheddar until blended; spoon over meat mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cheddar.
Bake 20 min. or until heated through.
Prepare as directed with extra-lean ground beef, PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese and KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Cheddar Cheese.
Barbecue Shepherd's Pie
Prepare recipe as directed, omitting the garlic and substituting 3/4 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce mixed with 1/2 tsp. onion powder for the gravy.
