What You Need
Original recipe yields 4 servings
1/3 cup PLANTERS Slivered Almonds
2 Tbsp. sugar
8 cups torn romaine lettuce
2 grapefruit s, sectioned
1 red pepper, cut into strips
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1/3 cup KRAFT Lite Ranch Dressing

Cook nuts and sugar in nonstick skillet on medium heat 5 min. or until sugar caramelizes and evenly coats nuts. Remove from pan; cool.
Combine all remaining ingredients.
Top with nuts. Serve immediately.
Choose grapefruit that have thin, fine textured, brightly colored skin. They should be firm yet springy when held in the palm and pressed. The heavier they are for their size, the juicier they'll be.
