Original recipe yields 32 servings
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
1-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 each green and red apple, finely chopped (about 2 cups)
1/2 cup coarsely chopped PLANTERS Walnuts

Heat oven to 375°F.
Mix cream cheese and sour cream in medium bowl until blended. Add cheddar; mix well.
Spread onto bottom of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray.
Mix sugar and cinnamon until blended. Combine apples and nuts in separate medium bowl. Add sugar mixture; mix lightly. Spoon over cream cheese mixture.
Bake 20 min. or until heated through.
Substitute fresh pears for 1 or both of the apples.
Serve with your favorite crackers, such as thin wheat snack crackers.
