Here's a glorious summertime pasta dish with fresh tomatoes, basil and balsamic vinaigrette. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and enjoy.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 4 servings
3 cups rotini pasta, uncooked
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup KRAFT Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
5 tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
3 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Let's Make It
Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
Meanwhile, cook onions, garlic and dressing in large skillet on medium-high heat 2 min. or until onions are tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in tomatoes; cook 2 min.
Drain pasta. Add vegetable mixture and remaining ingredients; mix lightly.
Cover and refrigerate any leftovers. Serve for lunch the next day along with cold sliced cooked chicken.
Have lots of cherry tomatoes in your garden that you would like to use up? Substitute halved cherry tomatoes for the chopped tomatoes.
For variety, prepare using KRAFT Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette Dressing or penne pasta.
