What You Need
Original recipe yields 6 servings
1 pkg. (13 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Natural Uncured Turkey Sausage, cut lengthwise in half, then crosswise into thin slices
1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed
1 can (10 oz.) RO*TEL Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, undrained
2 tsp. chili powder
2 cups water
2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
1/4 lb. (4 oz.) VELVEETA, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

Cook sausage in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 5 min. or until lightly browned, stirring occasionally.
Add beans, tomatoes and chili powder; mix well. Stir in water. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
Stir in rice and VELVEETA; cover. Simmer on low heat 5 to 7 minutes or until rice is tender and most of the water is absorbed.
Remove skillet from heat; stir until VELVEETA is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
Rinsing the canned beans before using them removes excess salt and preservatives.
Cook 1/2 cup chopped onions or peppers along with the sausage.
