What You Need
Original recipe yields 16 servings
1 tub (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese Spread
1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup dried cranberries
2 Tbsp. port wine
1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans
1/4 cup maple-flavored or pancake syrup

Let's Make It
Mix cream cheese spread, cheddar, cranberries and wine until blended. Refrigerate 1 hour.
Shape into ball or other desired shape; coat with nuts. Place on serving plate.
Drizzle with syrup before serving.

Omit syrup. Prepare cheese mixture as directed, then choose one of the following options: Wreath: Omit nuts. Drop cheese mixture by spoonfuls into ring on serving plate. Garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley and red peppers. Yule Logs: Divide cheese mixture in half. Roll each half into log. Coat with chopped fresh parsley in addition to the nuts. Decorated Christmas Tree: Drop cheese mixture by spoonfuls in triangular shape on platter. Add a few pretzel sticks for tree trunk and chopped red, green and yellow peppers for tree decorations. Snowman: Divide cheese mixture into three different-size balls (one small, one medium and one large). Coat balls with KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese. Place largest ball at bottom of serving plate for base of snowman. Place medium-size ball at top of large ball, and then smallest ball at top for snowman's head. Decorate with peppercorns or sliced black olives. Add a baby carrot for the nose. Truffles: Shape cheese mixture into 1/2-inch balls. Roll in KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, ground PLANTERS Pecans, dry bread crumbs or chopped fresh parsley.
