Original recipe yields 8 servings
2 lb. sweet potato es (about 7), cooked, peeled
1/2 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
1/2 cup packed brown sugar, divided
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. orange zest
1/4 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

Heat oven to 350°F.
Mash potatoes in large bowl. Add dressing, 1/4 cup sugar, ginger and zest; mix well.
Spoon into 1-1/2-qt. casserole. Combine nuts, remaining sugar, butter and cinnamon; sprinkle over potato mixture.
Bake 30 min. or until heated through.
How to Grate the Orange Peel
Lay a piece of parchment paper over the small holes of a hand grater. Grate the peel over the paper. The paper will prevent the grated peel from sticking to the holes.
