What You Need
Original recipe yields 36 servings
2-1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 egg s
1 tsp. vanilla
3 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped
1 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans

Heat oven to 375°F.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chopped chocolate and nuts.
Drop teaspoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets.
Bake 10 min. or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheet 1 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
A serving of this sweet treat goes a long way on chocolate flavor.
Line 15x10x1-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides; spray with cooking spray. Prepare dough as directed; spread onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake 20 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Use foil handles to remove dessert from pan before cutting into bars.
