Mix all ingredients except noodles, cherries and cinnamon sugar until well blended. Add noodles and cherries; mix lightly.
Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until lightly browned. Cool at least 10 minutes; cut into squares. Serve warm.

Prepare as directed, stirring in any one of the following with the noodles: 2 large apples, peeled, chopped; 1 cup raisins; 1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained; or 1/2 cup dried cranberries.
Crunch-Topped Noodle Kugel
Prepare as directed, sprinkling with combined 1 cup coarsely crushed corn flakes and 2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine before baking.
