Let's Make It
1. Pound steaks with mallet until 1/4 inch thick. Dredge steaks in flour. Brown steaks in oil, over high heat, until brown - about 5 minutes. Drain.
2. Mix bouillon and 4 cups water, and pour over steaks. Heat to boiling, then turn heat down to medium, or medium low, and simmer (covered) for 3 hours. Don't let steaks go dry, add more liquid if needed. After steaks are done, put on warmed platter.
3. Make gravy with 1/4 cup flour and 1/2 cup water. After gravy is almost done, put steaks back in gravy, for about 5 minutes, longer.
