1/2 cup salted butter (unsalted works as well), softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a cookie sheet with butter or PAM if preferred. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in one bowl.
Add the softened butter in a separate bowl and beat for 30 seconds with a hand mixer. Add the white and brown sugar to the butter and beat until fluffy.
Separate the Oreo Cookies® so one side has the majority of the icing. Using a butter knife, scrape off the icing and add it to the wet ingredients. Crush the cookie part of the Oreo Cookies® into little pieces and put them into the dry ingredients. Add the egg and vanilla extract into the butter and sugar, and beat well with electric mixer. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and beat well.
Using a spoon or a teaspoon, drop the cookies onto the greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8-9.5 minutes or until they turn a little brown.
