Pour milk, heavy whipping cream, and crushed tomatoes into large pot. Set it on a very low setting (#3). As milk is getting warm, chop up the onion and tomatoes.
Take the chopped onion and sauté it with a squirt of olive oil. Add salt and sugar to taste. Sauté till caramelized. When done add to the bisque.
Take the chopped tomatoes and place them in a small pot with a lid. Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook on high till tender and soft. When done, add to bisque. Add crushed garlic, black pepper, sea salt, sugar and ground ginger to taste. Add shredded cheese and mix well. Enjoy!
