Prepare Kraft Macaroni and Cheese according to box directions. Set aside off burner.
Prepare skillet or griddle on medium heat. Soften butter or margarine to spreading consistency. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice butter side down on griddle. Place 1 to 2 tablespoons of Mac and Cheese on bread. (Optional: place extra slice of cheese on top of mac and cheese.) Place second slice of bread on top butter side up.
