1/2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 lb Italian sausage
5 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp dried parsley
tsp 1/2 to 1 salt
1 tsp dried basil
1 can 14.5 ounce can whole tomatoes
2 sm. cans tomato paste
6-8 lasagna noodles
2 container (12 ounce) cottage cheese
2 eggs
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 lb grated mozzarella cheese

Let's Make It
Boil water for lasagna noodles. Meanwhile, brown ground beef and Italian sausage; drain. Add garlic, parsley, salt, basil, tomatoes, and tomato paste; bring to a boil and lower to a simmer for 30 min; boil noodles as directed.
Meanwhile, place cottage cheese, eggs, pepper, and parmesan in a medium size bowl, and beat with electric hand blender until smooth.
In a large casserole dish spoon out a little beef mixture in dish, place noodles on top, and layer beef mixture, cottage cheese mixture, and mozzarella cheese. Top with noodles and repeat layers.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.
