Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 2 qt casserole dish with non stick cooking spray. Add the 2 cans of drained green beans. Season with salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste.
Mix together sour cream and cream of chicken soup. Spread the mixture over the green beans. Cover with the 2 cups of Kraft grated cheese, next cover the cheese with the 40 crushed Ritz Crackers. Do not cover.
Place in the oven until golden brown on top, approx. 30-40 minutes.
