Original recipe yields 1 serving
pound 1- 4 or 5 beef tenderloin
1 bottle (15 oz.) A.1. Sauce
1 bottle (10 oz.) Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 tsp black pepper

Marinate beef in A.1. and Worcestershire Sauce in refrigerator 1 day ahead of the dinner.

One hour before serving, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove meat from marinade (save marinade). Spread beef with butter and pepper and wrap in foil.

Cook for 65 minutes or until roast reaches 145 degrees F. Marinade every 10 minutes for first 30 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes. This is fairly rare, but what we usually eat. The ends are more well than the middle.
