Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 16 oz container bocconcini, water packed (mini mozzerella balls)
1 container small cherry or other tomatoes
1 large bunch basil
3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Sea Salt
12 small or large wood skewers

Let's Make It

Step 1: Drain water from bocconcini, add to large bowl.

Step 2: Wash and add cherry tomatoes to bocconcini.

Step 3: Pour olive oil over bocconcini and tomatoes; toss until lightly coated.

Step 4: Wash basil and pat dry.

Step 5: Begin threading skewers with one bocconcini, a few basil leaves (fold in half before skewering), and a cherry tomato.

Step 6: Display skewers on festive platter and sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Use any left over basil as decoration on platter.
