1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1-1/3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
Granulated sugar for rolling
1 bag Brach's Chocolate Stars

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine butter, light brown sugar, milk and vanilla in a bowl. Beat in peanut butter at medium speed with electric mixer until well blended. Beat egg into creamed mixture. In a separate bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda. Mix into creamed mixture until just blended.

2. Pinch off pieces of dough and roll into 1 inch balls. Roll ball in sugar then place on ungreased baking sheet.

3. Bake for 10-13 minutes until just starting to color. Remove from oven. Quickly press chocolate stars firmly into the top of each cookie (cookie will crack around edges). Remove to wire racks to cool.
