Mix cookies and 1/2 cup melted butter. Press into 9 x 13 pan. Slice ice cream and cover cookie mixture with slices. Press the peanuts into the ice cream. Place the pan in the freezer.

In a saucepan, combine powdered sugar, chocolate chips, milk and 1/2 cup butter. Boil together 8 minutes; stir constantly. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Cool thoroughly.

Spread chocolate mixture over ice cream mixture. Keep frozen.
