Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 lb hamburger, lightly drained
6-7 eggs
Seasonings - (oregano, garlic, basil, etc.)
1 cup Kraft Grated Colby Cheese or 6 to 7 single slices American cheese (or flavored like pepperjack, pimento, etc.)

Thoroughly brown ground beef in a medium size skillet, about 8 inch. Lightly drain. Leave enough grease to keep eggs from sticking. (Can add 2 tsp. olive oil if totally drained).

Break eggs over beef one at a time around the edge of pan touching and then one in the middle. Pierce eggs to break yolks and stir slightly EACH egg. Do not mix eggs completely into hamburger. Add the seasonings by sprinkling over the skillet - to taste (light, medium, or heavy). Place a lid on skillet and cook over low to medium-low heat for 10 minutes. Check to make sure eggs are not burning or sticking to pan. Add oil if necessary.

When eggs are firm, remove lid and sprinkle with cheese or cover with slices. Replace lid and remove from heat. Let stand 5-10 minutes. With spatula, cut around each egg for one serving. Serve.
