1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup mashed ripe bananas
1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Let's Make It

Cream shortening and sugar until light. Blend in 1 egg at a time. Beat well after each addition. Add bananas and mix well. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Blend well.

Put into a greased 9-inch square pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until done.
