In a large frying pan, melt margarine on med. Heat and add chops that you have slightly salted and peppered and brown on both sides. Remove chops.
Add bell pepper and onion to frying pan and saute till softened. You may have to add extra margarine to soften pepper and onion.
Remove everything from pan and add the 2 cups of water. Stir and mix well with the pan drippings. Add rice and salt and stir. Then place chops on top of rice with bell pepper and onions on top of chops. Cover and cook on medium to low until rice is done.
