2 medium cantaloupes
1/2 cup water
2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons flour or cornstarch
1 stick butter or margarine
4 egg yolks
3 teaspoon s vanilla
1 pie crust

Peel cantaloupes, put in large pan, and cook over low heat till tender, drain. Use potato masher or electric mixer, blend till no lumps. Add sugar, flour or cornstarch, margarine or butter, and egg yolks. Cook over low heat till thick. Add vanilla.

Put into baked pie crust. Add meringue and brown.

Refrigerate for about an hour and serve.
