Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 pound ground turkey or lean ground beef
3 Tbsp taco seasonings
1 can tomato soup
1 cup Taco Bell's Thick and Chunky Mild Salsa
1 cup frozen corn
1 package cornbread mix
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1 cup Kraft finely shredded Colby/Jack cheese, divided

Preheat oven to 425°F or what is called for on cornbread mix. Brown meat, add taco seasonings. Stir in soup and salsa. When bubbling, add corn.

Prepare cornbread mix using package directions, adding 1/2 cup of shredded Kraft cheese.

Pour meat mixture into Dutch oven. Pour cornbread mixture evenly over top of meat.

Cook for 15 minutes or until cornbread is almost set. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of cheese on top of casserole and cook for another 10 minutes or until cornbread is done and cheese is melted.
