Original recipe yields 1 serving
4 cups tart apples
1 teaspoons ground cinnamon
0.25 teaspoons nutmeg
0.25 teaspoons ground cloves
2 units eggs
0.5 cups milk
0.5 cups sugar
0.5 cups bisquick
3 tablespoons butter
1 units topping
0.5 cups bisquick
0.5 cups light brown sugar
3 tablespoons butter
0.5 cups nuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. In med bowl, gently toss apple slices with spices to coat. Spread into a butter-coated pie plate.

In same bowl, mix together eggs, milk, sugar and baking mix until well blended. Mix in butter (mixture will be lumpy from butter). Pour over apples.

In another med bowl, stir together baking mix & sugar, cut in butter with fork until blended (small dry lumps are formed) stir in chopped nuts. Sprinkle topping mixture liberally over apples.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until lightly browned.
