3 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups butter (not margarine)
3 cups plain or cake flour
5 eggs
3/4 cup 7UP

Let's Make It

Cream sugar and butter. Add flour, adding the eggs, alternately between sugar and flour. Add 7UP a little at a time.

Pour batter into a tube or bundt pan

Bake at 325°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done. (In some areas it may take longer depending on the oven.) Cool and serve.
