Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 lb penne pasta, uncooked
1 cup Kraft Shredded Sharp Cheese
1/2 cup whole milk (you can use 2%) or 1 cup for thinner sauce
1 Tbsp butter
1/4 tsp fresh ground sea salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
1/2 tsp minced garlic
2 cups diced, cooked ham
3 green onions, chopped
1 cup diced red bell pepper
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

Let's Make It
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. While oven is preheating, prepare penne pasta according tp package directions.
In a double boiler combine cheese, milk, 1 tablespoon butter, salt & pepper, and minced garlic, stir until melted and smooth, remove from heat, set aside.
After pasta is cooked, drain, do not rinse. Place in a large baking dish, add ham, green onion and red bell pepper, and blend together. Add cheese sauce and blend well.
Prior to placing in oven, in a small frying pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, and add seasoned bread crumbs, cook over medium heat until well blended. Remove from heat, Sprinkle on top of mixture.
Place baking dish in oven, uncovered and bake 30 - 35 minutes, or 45 minutes for a crispier top. Serve with garlic bread.
