Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 lb lean ground beef
cup 1/2 to 3/4 chopped onion
2 cups water
1 can (15.5 oz.) undrained canned corn (or 'Mexicorn')
tsp 1/4 to 1 Zatarain's Liquid Shrimp & Crab Boil
1 pkg (14 oz.) Kraft Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
1 can (11 to 15 oz.) chili, without beans
Fresh-ground black pepper, to taste
Salt, to taste (don't add until you check it)
cup 1/4 to 1/3 Kraft Shredded Cheddar or Mexican-Blend Cheese to top each serving

Brown meat in large skillet or Dutch oven, adding onion if you prefer them cooked.

Stir in water, corn, Zatarain's and the macaroni from the Kraft package. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to med-low, cover, and simmer 5 to 10 min. or until macaroni is tender, stirring 2 or 3 times to keep macaroni from sticking.

Add onion (if not cooked in), chili, and the cheese sauce packet. Mix well and cook 2 min. more, or until heated through.

Ladle into bowls and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
