1 - Place a shallow to medium dish in sink and then add uncooked lasagna noodles and fill dish with HOT water. Let sit for noodles to soften.
2 - Crumble ground beef and season with salt, pepper, & Italian seasonings such as garlic salt and oregano.
3 - Brown beef.
4 - Check on noodles. I usually drain the water and add new HOT water to the dish again. You want the noodles at least 1/2 way cooked.
5 - In a large bowl mix spaghetti sauce, eggs, cottage cheese, 2 cups of mozzarella cheese, and ground beef.
6 - In a large deep microwave baking dish, (or 9 x 13 dish for the oven) layer noodles and meat mixture. Make sure to cover all noodles with meat mixture to ensure they cook the rest of the way and do not become crunchy.
7 - Place in microwave with a lid and vent hole cooking on high for 25 minutes.
8 - CAREFULLY remove lid and add remaining 2 cups of mozzarella to the top. Cook 5 more minutes on high.
9 - If cooking in the oven, cook at 350°F for 30 minutes; add cheese during last 5 minutes of cooking.
