1 1/2 pounds bone-in skinless chicken thighs
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
Lemon juice to taste
1 bottle (18 oz.) barbecue sauce
6 oz (3/4 cup) regular soda

In a 4-quart or larger slow cooker, place chicken, onion, and lemon slices.

Combine barbecue sauce and cola. Pour over chicken.

Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours. Remove chicken to platter. Spoon sauce over chicken and serve.
