Cut the bread into cubes, season with the poultry seasoning, sage, parsley, salt & pepper. Cover and put in a cool, dry place, shake it up a few times a day until Thanksgiving.
2-3 Days before the event:
Chop the green pepper, celery, & onion, cover, put in fridge.
Melt butter in frying pan, saute the chopped veggies. Pour the beaten egg into the bread. Toss in the cooked veggies. Toss in the apple cubes. Mix, adding the chicken broth until it is as moist as you like it. Cover, and stick in fridge.
Morning of event: Choose one
1. Stuff the turkey, roast as usual.
2. Put stuffing in baking pan, bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.
