Original recipe yields 1 serving
2 cans Pillsbury Croissant Dough
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp ground nutmeg
1 stick salted butter; softened
1 cup store-bought cream cheese icing

Let's Make It
PREHEAT the oven to 350 degrees F. Roll out the dough to about a 1/2 inch thick in a rectangular shape. Mix together all the “dry ingredients” in a bowl. In an electric mixer whip the butter until it is a pale yellow. Pour the dry ingredients a tablespoon at a time into the whipped butter; until completely incorporated. Divide the cinnamon mixture in half for each piece of dough.
SPREAD ½ of the mixture on one piece of rolled out dough, about half an inch away from the border. Spread it evenly. Do this same process on the other piece of dough. Roll in the dough to make the shape of the cinnamon roll. Do this same process on the other dough. Cut the roll in 1 inch cuts to make you cinnamon shapes. Do this same process with the other dough. Place the cinnamon cuts on a cookie sheet with a layer of parchment paper under the rolls.
PUT the rolls in the oven for about 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Rest the rolls for 30 minutes before pouring icing on them. Place icing right before serving. ENJOY!!!
